FORGE MDPAP

MTI provides user experience, human factors, and model-based human systems integration to modernize and enhance our nation’s missile warning and missile defense capabilities.

U.S. Space Force’s Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) effort is creating a modular, extensible, and cyber-hardened ground system to operate and process mission data downlinked from satellites. The Mission Data Processing Application Provider (MDPAP) processes data, applies advanced algorithms, and presents the information to the user to evaluate and respond to potential threats. This is a high-stakes mission with little room for error or delay, it’s crucial that the user be able to maintain situational awareness, understand the data, and make decisions accurately and quickly. 

SciTec is the project’s prime contractor, leading a team of companies each providing specialized capabilities. Through our proven user-centered approach, we deliver the most effective MDPAP solution for Space Force Guardians. 

MDPAP began as a competitive prototyping effort under an Other Transaction Authority (OTA) competition. MTI led the User Experience (UX) development of the prototype. During the prototype evaluation, system usability was cited as a differentiator in the award.
